comfy space station

The virtual space "comfy space station" has been designed with the core idea of providing an area to relax and meet like-minded people in. It consists of a main hub and 4 side rooms, each of which are fit out with seating, a crackling fireplace and an interactable media frame, which can be filled by users with web links.
The main room contains 3 windows, through which you can see the space surrounding the station. Depending on which one you stand at, the background music changes, thereby changing the vibe of the scenery. In the center of the main hub, there is a round floor window, allowing the visitor to look down to earth. Lastly, the hub contains a media frame holding the NASA livestream, leading to an increased sense of presence on this space station.
Everywhere on the station, visitors are able to perceive the quiet humming of the engines, thereby further emphasizing the relaxing atmosphere of outer space.

In this project, I was responsible for conceptualizing and modelling the space station and furnishing it with various other models that my team supplied me with. I also took care of the sound design and placed media frames in every side room, so that visitors could watch videos or streams together.
